Released on 21st September 2016, the FAQs were initially based on the Model GST Law of June 2016. Following updates, the draft laws of CGST, SGST, IGST, UTGST, and Compensation Cess have been approved by the GST Council, with central bills introduced in Parliament and state legislation pending. This edition aims to enhance GST knowledge among tax officials, trade, and the public.
