of <h1>Section 158 Empowers Government to Resolve GST Implementation Issues; Orders Must Be Issued Within Two Years</h1> Section 158 of the Model GST Law allows the Central or State Government to address difficulties in implementing the Act. On the Council's recommendation, they can issue general or special orders published in the Gazette to resolve issues. However, such orders cannot be made after two years from when the problematic provision took effect. Any order issued must be presented to Parliament or the State Legislature promptly.
