Interest on delayed refunds must be ordered and electronically credited to the applicant's nominated bank account under refund rules. The proper officer shall make an order and a payment advice in the prescribed form specifying the delayed refund amount, the period of delay for which interest is payable and the interest amount payable, and such interest shall be electronically credited to any bank account of the applicant mentioned in the applicant's registration particulars and as specified in the refund application.
