Interest on pre-deposit refunds is payable from payment date to refund date at the prescribed rate. Interest is payable on refunds of pre-deposit amounts returned after orders of the First Appellate Authority or the Appellate Tribunal, at the prescribed rate, accruing from the date of payment of the pre-deposit until the date of refund.
