          <h1>Exclusion of time for obtaining a copy prevents delay from denying time for appeals when a copy was not furnished at service.</h1> When an order is served, the day of service is counted, but if the party was not furnished a copy of the order with the notice, the time required to obtain a copy of that order is excluded from the period of limitation for appeals or applications under this Chapter.
