Licensees Must Keep Detailed Warehouse Records for 5 Years, Submit Monthly Reports, and Store Digital Copies Offsite
A licensee must maintain comprehensive records of the receipt, handling, storage, and removal of goods in a warehouse, and present them to the bond officer upon request. This includes documenting all activities related to the goods, sampling, and keeping copies of relevant documents such as bills of entry and transport documents. Records must be accurate, updated, and preserved for at least five years post-removal. Digital copies should be stored offsite to prevent loss. Monthly reports of warehouse activities must be submitted within ten days post-month-end, and expiring warehousing periods must be reported by the 10th of the preceding month.
