of <h1>Regulations for Custody and Handling of Goods in Warehouses Enacted Under Customs Act, 1962 via Notification 68/2016</h1> The Warehouse (Custody and Handling of Goods) Regulations, 2016, issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs under the Ministry of Finance, India, were established under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962. These regulations pertain to the custody and handling of goods in special warehouses. They were officially enacted through Notification No. 68/2016-Customs (N.T.) and came into effect upon their publication in the Official Gazette on May 14, 2016.
