Appointment of Adjudicating Authorities: Central Government may designate officers via Gazette to conduct inquiries under the Act. The Central Government may, by an order published in the official Gazette, appoint officers as Adjudicating Authorities to hold inquiries under chapter IV of the Act, permitting multiple appointments as it deems fit to conduct adjudicatory proceedings under the Foreign Exchange Management framework.
