Preliminary findings permit expedited recording of serious-injury threats and require public notice to relevant governments. The Director General may expedite investigations and, in critical circumstances, record a preliminary finding of serious injury or threat of serious injury; he must issue a public notice of that preliminary finding and send copies to the Central Government (Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Finance) and to the government of the exporting State and all ASEAN member States.
