of <h1>Director General Must Expedite Investigations Under India-ASEAN Trade Agreement Rules, 2016, and Issue Preliminary Findings Promptly.</h1> The Director General is required to conduct investigations swiftly under the India-ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (Safeguard Measures) Rules, 2016, and may issue preliminary findings in cases of serious injury or threat thereof. A public notice of these findings must be issued and copies sent to the Central Government's Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Finance, as well as to the governments of the exporting state and other ASEAN member states.
