of <h1>Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority functions and governance: CEO management, Chairperson supervision, committees, outsourcing permitted, Schedule II divisions.</h1> The rules prescribe the Authoritys duty to administer the Investor Education and Protection Fund and vest general management in the Chief Executive Officer, who may exercise powers authorised by the Authority and functions under the superintendence and direction of the Chairperson. The Authority may constitute permanent committees; each committee comprises two members, the Chief Executive Officer and the concerned functional head as secretary, and is headed by an ex-officio member. Committees may invite external experts for specific issues. The Authority may outsource work related to fund and share management and maintain broad functional divisions as specified in Schedule II.
