General bond authority allows entering bonds with suitable surety to secure transport of goods through foreign territory.

Regulation 10 authorises the proper officer to permit the person-in-charge of a conveyance or the consignor to enter into a general bond, in such form and with such surety or security as the proper officer may deem fit, to secure transport of goods through foreign territory, notwithstanding other provisions of the Regulations, and to apply to transports effected from time to time.
