Additional duty on high speed diesel oil increased, raising excise and customs levy under the Finance Act. Amendment increases the additional duties applicable to high speed diesel oil by substituting the existing rate entry in the Second Schedule to the Finance Act, 1999, thereby revising the statutory rate that applies as an additional duty of customs and an additional duty of excise on high speed diesel oil.
