Commencement of Finance Act 2015: sections 2-79 are deemed to take effect from the start of the financial year. The Finance Act, 2015 is cited as such and, save as otherwise provided in the Act, sections 2 to 79 are deemed to have come into force on the first day of the financial year, thereby fixing the default commencement date for the Act's operative provisions.
