<h1>Companies Must Notify Account Location per Rule 2A, Companies (Accounts) Rules, 2014, Using Form AOC-5.</h1> Rule 2A of the Companies (Accounts) Rules, 2014, mandates that companies must provide notice of the address where their books of account will be maintained. This requirement is in accordance with the first proviso to sub-section (1) of section 128 of the Companies Law. The notice must be submitted using Form AOC-5. This rule was inserted as per the notification dated January 16, 2015.
