<h1>Indian companies can issue warrants to non-residents under Regulation 6C with RBI conditions</h1> Regulation 6C of the Foreign Exchange Management Act permits Indian companies to issue warrants to non-resident persons, subject to conditions specified by the Reserve Bank from time to time. This provision was inserted in 2014 and forms part of regulations governing transfer or issue of securities by persons resident outside India. The original 2000 regulations have been superseded by new regulations introduced in 2017.
