Tariff schedule amendment: omission of a specified tariff item from the Finance Act schedule removes its statutory classification. Clause 107 of the Finance (No. 2) Bill, 2014 proposes to omit tariff item 2402 20 60 and the entries relating thereto from the Seventh Schedule to the Finance Act, 2001, resulting in deletion of that tariff line and its associated schedule entries from the Act.
