Extension of statutory period: Board may extend the decision period for a limited additional term on sufficient cause. The amendment inserts a proviso in sub section (3) of section 35E, authorising the Board to extend the prescribed decision period by another thirty days where it is satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for not making an order within the original period.
