Inspection of company documents: Registrar permits paid inspection and certified copies, but certain resolutions remain excluded from access
Rule 15 provides that any person may inspect documents kept by the Registrar that were filed or registered under the Companies Act, on payment of the prescribed fee; it also permits any person to require a certified copy or extract of a company document from the Registrar on payment of fee. A specific restriction excludes entitlement under the inspection provision to inspect or obtain copies of resolutions referred to in clause (g) of subsection (3) of section 117, so those particular resolutions remain noninspectable despite the general inspection and certification rights.
