Export Manifest Submission Rules: Duplicate Copies, Detailed Lists, and Security for Late Submissions Within Seven Days
Every export manifest must be submitted in duplicate and signed by the vessel's person-in-charge. It includes a cargo manifest, a vessel's stores list, and a list of private property belonging to the Master, officers, and crew. The manifest must detail goods shipped, transhipped, or remaining on the vessel, and specify dutiable items like arms and ammunition separately. It must also list the intended and originating ports for the goods. Separate sheets are required for cargo with claimed drawbacks. The manifest must be submitted to the Export Department before or within seven days of the vessel's departure, with security provided if submitted post-departure.
