<h1>New Rules for Refunding Excess Anti-Dumping Duties Under Custom Tariff Act, 1975, Effective January 19, 2012.</h1> The Refund of Anti-Dumping Duty (Paid in Excess of Actual Margin of Dumping) Rules, 2012, were established by the Central Government under the authority of the Custom Tariff Act of 1975. These rules are applicable across India and aim to regulate the refund of anti-dumping duties that exceed the actual margin of dumping. The rules became effective upon their publication in the Official Gazette on January 19, 2012, as per Notification No. 05/2012-Customs (N.T.).
