Discharge of trustee: grounds include extinction, duty completion, instrument provision, replacement, beneficiary consent, or court order. A trustee may be discharged from office only by extinction of the trust; completion of duties; means prescribed by the trust instrument; appointment of a new trustee under the Act; consent of the trustee and all competent beneficiaries where applicable; or by Court order on a petition presented under the Act.
