Vacating trustee office: a trustee's office ends when they die or are discharged by operation of law. The office of a trustee is terminated when the trustee dies or is formally discharged from office, thereby ending the individual's trusteeship and associated duties. Section 70 identifies the vacation of the office of trustee as occurring specifically by death or by discharge, removing the person from the status, powers, and obligations of trustee.
