Mutual Agreement Procedure enables competent authorities to resolve treaty implementation and interpretation issues through direct consultation. The competent authorities of the Contracting Parties must endeavour to resolve difficulties or doubts in implementation or interpretation of the DTAA by mutual agreement, may agree procedures for applying Articles 4-9, and may communicate directly to reach such agreement.
