Sweat equity shares rules establish short title and commencement upon publication in the Official Gazette. The Unlisted Companies (Issue of Sweat Equity Shares) Rules, 2003 are made under the proviso to sub section (1) of section 79A read with sub section (1) of section 642 of the Companies Act, 1956; they are titled accordingly and commence on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
