<h1>Foreign Companies' Docs in India to Be Destroyed 3 Years Post-Exit; Registrar Must Notify Beforehand</h1> Registered documents of foreign companies that no longer maintain a business presence in India are to be destroyed three years after they cease operations in the country. The Registrar of Companies in Delhi must notify the relevant Registrar of the intent to destroy these documents two weeks before the planned destruction date. Upon receiving this notification, the concerned Registrar must destroy the documents simultaneously and confirm the destruction to the Registrar of Companies, Delhi.
