Suspension of registration certificate may bar receipt of foreign contribution and limit utilisation pending cancellation review. The Central Government may, for reasons recorded in writing, suspend a registration certificate by written order for a specified suspension period while considering cancellation. During suspension the person shall not receive foreign contribution except where permitted by the Central Government on terms and conditions, and must utilise any foreign contribution in custody only in the prescribed manner with prior approval of the Central Government.
