Reference substitution in Customs Tariff updates weight-measure law citation to the Legal Metrology Act, effective by notification. Substitution in the proviso to subsection (2) of section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 replaces the reference to the Standards of Weights and Measures Act, 1976 with a reference to the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, the substitution to take effect from a date to be appointed by the Central Government by notification in the Official Gazette.
