Exclusion of probation applies to convictions under the Code; persons under eighteen years remain eligible for probation. Nothing in Section 360 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, or in the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958, shall apply to a person convicted under this Code, except where the person is under eighteen years of age; the clause excludes probationary mechanisms for convicted adults while preserving them for juvenile offenders.
