The Authority, after hearing both parties and considering the case merits, may issue a stay order for up to 180 days. The Authority can extend the stay if the delay is not the company's fault, but the total stay period cannot exceed 365 days. The Authority must resolve the appeal within the stay period; otherwise, the stay order is vacated.
