Appeals to National Tax Tribunal allowed; decisions final unless appealed to Supreme Court. Tax payable during appeal.
An appeal can be made to the National Tax Tribunal from an order by the Appellate Tribunal. The Tribunal's powers and procedures are governed by the National Tax Tribunal Act, 2005. Its decisions are final, except for appeals to the Supreme Court. The Assessing Officer must implement the Tribunal's order based on a certified copy of the judgment. Tax remains payable according to the assessment, even if an appeal is pending before the National Tax Tribunal.
