Investigation timeframe requires importing authority to conclude probe or importer freed from guarantee if not completed. The competent importing authorities must conclude the investigation within ninety days from receipt of information under Rule 24; if not concluded within that period the importer is released from the payment of the guarantee. If new investigative actions or additional information are required, the importing authorities must inform the exporting authorities and complete such actions or receive the information within an additional period not exceeding ninety days from receipt under Rule 24.
