<h1>Import Investigation Deadline: 90 Days to Conclude Under Rule 24 of Customs Tariff Rules in MERCOSUR-India Trade Agreement.</h1> The competent authorities of the importing Signatory Party must conclude investigations within ninety days from receiving requested information per Rule 24. If additional investigative actions or information are needed, the importing authorities must inform the exporting authorities, with a new ninety-day period for completion. If the investigation is not concluded within ninety days from its start, the importer is released from the payment of the guarantee, even if the investigation continues. These provisions are part of the Customs Tariff Rules under the Preferential Trade Agreement between MERCOSUR Member States and India.
