Language of parliamentary proceedings: Hindi and English allowed, with mother-tongue addresses permitted and future removal of English possible.

Business in Parliament is to be transacted in Hindi or in English; the presiding officer may permit members to speak in their mother-tongue if they cannot adequately express themselves in Hindi or English; and, unless Parliament provides otherwise, after the prescribed transitional period the provision will operate as if the reference to English were omitted.
