Ancillary powers allow Parliament to confer supplemental authorities on the Supreme Court to enable exercise of constitutional jurisdiction.

Parliament may enact laws granting the Supreme Court supplemental powers-procedural, remedial or ancillary-that assist the Court in effectively exercising its constitutional jurisdiction, on the condition that such powers are not inconsistent with any provision of the Constitution.
