All information, copies and extracts obtained by the Chief Inspector cum Facilitator, an Inspector cum Facilitator or assistants during inspections or surveys is confidential and must not be disclosed while in service or after leaving service except when necessary to protect health, safety or welfare; specified recipients (courts, Code Committees/Boards, official superior or employer, compensation Commissioner, Controller Indian Bureau of Mines, or other persons specified by the appropriate Government) may receive disclosures. The source of complaints is protected and not to be disclosed without complainant consent, and inspections arising from complaints must not be identified as such to the employer.
