Removal of Mediation Council members: Central Government may remove members for insolvency, misconduct, conflict, or incapacity.

The Central Government may remove a Member of the Mediation Council for undischarged insolvency, unauthorized paid employment, conviction involving moral turpitude, acquisition of financial or other interests likely to prejudice functions, abuse of position harmful to public interest, or physical or mental incapacity, and must inform the Member of charges and afford an opportunity to be heard prior to removal.
