Customs tariff classification and duty schedules were extensively revised across multiple product chapters and notes.

Extensive amendments were made to the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, revising tariff items, chapter notes, sub-heading notes and product descriptions across numerous chapters. The changes include substitution, insertion and omission of tariff entries for agricultural goods, chemicals, textiles, paper products, wood and bamboo articles, metals, machinery, electrical and electronic goods, vehicles, toys and other consumer goods, together with corresponding adjustments to standard and preferential duty rates.
