Voluntary disclosure of income excluded from total income if recorded, intimated to tax authorities, and tax paid on time.
Voluntary disclosure of income is not included in a declarant's total income if the declarant credits the amount in books or other records and informs the Assessing Officer, and pays the income-tax on that amount within the time specified; the Commissioner shall, on application, grant a certificate stating the particulars of the disclosed income and the tax paid.
