Relevance of official recitals: government-published statements deemed evidence of public facts for judicial consideration.

When a court must determine whether a matter is a fact of public nature, a statement in a recital contained in a Central or State enactment or in a government notification published in the Official Gazette, or in a printed or electronic document purporting to be that Gazette, is admissible as a relevant fact for assessing existence of the public fact.
