Appeals from convictions under the offences affecting the administration of justice lie to the ordinarily appellate court; Chapter XXXI applies and the Appellate Court may alter findings or modify sentences. Appeals from a Court of Small Causes, or from a Registrar or Sub-Registrar acting as a civil court by direction, lie to the Court of Session for the sessions division where that Court or office is situated.
