Procedure for forwarding cases: court may transfer offences affecting administration of justice to a magistrate and require security.

If a court considers a section 384 offence should not be disposed of under that section, it must record the facts and the accused's statement, may forward the case to a Magistrate having jurisdiction, and may require security for appearance or forward the accused in custody if security is not given; the receiving Magistrate shall proceed as far as possible as if the case were instituted on a police report.
