Form No. 28 empowers a magistrate under section 166 to prohibit a claimant from taking or retaining possession of disputed land or water when, after inquiry, the magistrate finds the land or water has been openly enjoyed by the public or by particular persons recently or in the relevant season; the prohibition endures until a competent court grants a decree adjudging exclusive possession to the claimant.
