Conviction on plea of guilty: magistrate may record accused's words and may convict at discretion.

Where an accused in a summons-case pleads guilty, the Magistrate shall record the plea as nearly as possible in the words used by the accused and may, in his discretion, convict the accused thereon, providing for summary disposal of the matter following a faithful recording of the plea and the Magistrate's exercise of discretion to convict.
