Use of previously used government revenue stamps is a criminal offence punishable by imprisonment or fine.

The provision criminalises use of a Government revenue stamp known to have been previously used when done fraudulently or with intent to cause loss to the Government; the offence attracts imprisonment of either description for up to two years, or a fine, or both.
