Unauthorised use of bailed goods creates liability to compensate for any damage arising from that use.

A bailee who uses bailed goods contrary to the agreed conditions is liable to compensate the bailor for any damage to the goods resulting from that unauthorised use; liability arises even if the unauthorised user exercised due care, provided the damage flowed from the deviation from the conditions of bailment.
