Certificate of Origin requirements: must be issued by authorised body, include specified information and remain valid for a time-limited period.

The Certificate of Origin must be issued by an issuing body or authority of the exporting Party upon application by an exporter, producer, or authorised representative; bear an authorised signature and official seal applied manually or electronically; be in writing or electronic form in English; state that the good is originating and meets the rules; contain information and format as set out in Annexure-A; remain valid for a prescribed limited period from completion or issue; apply to single importation only where each good independently qualifies as originating; and bear a unique Certificate of Origin number affixed by the issuing body. A certificate may indicate multiple invoices for one importation.
