Power to make regulations enables central rulemaking for implementation, governance procedures, and reporting obligations.

Power to make regulations authorises the Central Authority, with prior Central Government approval and by notification, to make regulations not inconsistent with the Act to give effect to its provisions. The provision empowers the Central Authority to regulate engagement of experts, allocation and transaction of business of senior officers, and the form, manner and timing for submission of inquiries or investigations by the Director-General, along with any other matters the Act contemplates by regulation.
