Impersonation at enrolment: false demographic or biometric data is criminalised with imprisonment or fine as penalty.

Section 34 criminalises impersonation or attempted impersonation at enrolment by providing false demographic or biometric information, whether the person impersonated is alive, dead or imaginary, and prescribes punishment by imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or a fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees, or both.
