The Income-tax Act amendment substitutes "bank account" in clause (d) of the first proviso to section 13A with "bank account or through such other electronic mode as may be prescribed," thereby permitting prescribed electronic modes in addition to bank accounts; the substitution takes effect from the first day of April, 2020.
