Adjudicating Authority service conditions restrict post-retirement practice, arbitration work, and certain employment after office.

Conditions of service for Members of the Adjudicating Authority, where not expressly provided, follow those admissible to a Central Government Officer of corresponding status. Members cannot practise before the Adjudicating Authority after retirement or undertake arbitration work while in office. They are also subject to a cooling-off restriction on accepting employment connected with the management or administration of a party to proceedings, subject to specified government and public authority exceptions.
