Grant of registration certificate: Board issues Form B to eligible underwriters and registration remains valid until suspended or cancelled.

The Board, on being satisfied of an applicant's eligibility, must within one month intimate the applicant and grant a certificate in Form B, subject to payment of the prescribed fees. The certificate of registration shall remain valid unless suspended or cancelled by the Board, and underwriters previously registered before the amendment are deemed to have been granted registration under the current sub-regulation framework, subject to payment and procedural conditions.
